In 2003, during Easter dinner, Ron noticed that the table was set with stained pot holders and old tea towels. At that moment, he became determined to create something special for his wife, Shirley, which would be both useful and look great on the table.
With three years of trial and error, Ron developed the Andreas Silicone product line. For several years Ron and Shirley manufactured their jar openers and trivets in a small shed in their backyard. In 2011, business had outgrown their small shed and an amazing opportunity presented itself; a historic building with a rich history was for sale in Tamaqua, PA. Today, Andreas Silicone can be found all around the world in large and small retailers alike.
